Reading the Macro-Arc pt. 2 - Vertically-Integrated Lies don't "Get Better"

 

When everything is fake, the only path to systemic improvement is collapse.

Time to wrap up the series on the House of Lies for now. At least as far as the current posting schedule is concerned. There is no real wrap up without its total collapse, and even then the fallen nature of the world means evil and deception will be endemic until the end. And with the modern West sinking further and further into madness it’s certain we’ll be picking up on it again. Because the House of Lies is the aggregate official institutional nature of that modern West. 

We won’t recap the House of Lies journey – part 1 of this post starts with a long summary before introducing the idea of the Macro-Arc [click for a link if interested]. If you haven't seen that post, it sets this one up, but the observations here can be followed easily enough without it.

Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. When all the major ones are trending the same way, they form a Macro-Arc. We are presently in one that is in a power-dive towards systemic collapse - collapse being the point where the element has no more room for decline and simply fails.

What this post will do is think about why the Macro-Arc is trending downward. Why every major defining trajectory in modern society is moving negatively towards collapse. We've considered the degenerative synergy of satanic narrative engineers and the functionally second species of narrative huffers. But why are the huffers so evacuated - so self-destructively devoid of judgment? The answer is another synergy.

The House of Lies fits a cratering Macro-Arc because all its aggregate official institutional structures are on mutually reinforcing downward drives.

This is why we don't see it "turning around" without catastrophic collapse and rebuilding. The reality is all our structures and institutions are made up of people. We've seen over and over that the greatest codes and constitutions are meaningless if no one wants to follow them. Just as restoring a corrupted and inverted organization or entity needs relatively uncorrupted and uninverted restorers. And with every aspect of society following the same corrupt and inversive path - governments, education, health, commerce, media, etc. - there is nowhere to launch restoration from.

We literally can't even.

The Band has had this conversation plenty of times with various associates who dream of a policy or edict to restore freedom of thought or expression in some venue or another. Suppose you could sack all the corrupted or inverted deadwood in some institutional cesspool. Where would the cadre of reality-facing replacements come from? The trajectories of the Macro-Arc - the degenerating planks of the House of Lies - aren't just moving in comparable directions. They reinforce and support each other. The inversion of education produces the inverted credentialed hacks that further invert education that produces even more inverted credentialed hacks and so on. 

Of course there are plenty of people out there who aren't FTS-2 dolts or demonic narrative engineers. It's just that the negative synergy of the Macro-Arc has completely pushed them out of official channels.

The best-case scenario is that these are the people who will rebuild after this reeking mass of detritus finally implodes. But until then, they're on the outside, building parallel channels and forming strategies to survive without the beast.

We've noted in past posts that it's a common mistake to assume that one thing can change while everything else stays the same. That we can alter some aspect of society without altering the society it is no longer working to shape. The reality is that a fallen world is characterized by moral entropy. That without constant effort to uphold and promote moral standards, the natural state is for human society to decline and degrade. It's not hard to see.

This comes back to something we’ve posted on before – de-moralization [click for a post where we first start looking at it in comics and another look in media culture]. The systematic removal of traditional intrinsic Christian morality from society and replacing it with materialist inversion.

Apotheosis imagery comes from Greco-Roman antiquity by way of post-Renaissance aristocratic Europe. The idea that a flawed, limited human can be conceptualized in timeless, immortal, divine terms. One need only consider the level of reverence for the historical Washington or the symbolism surrounding him to see how preposterous this is. 

We hyphenate “de-moralization” to separate it from demoralization as the loss of morale. This started even before the Enlightenment but really accelerated with the fake media world of the 20th century. And yes, that's a long timeframe. But that's how moral entropy works. Thinking short term is how the illusion that one thing can change and everything else stays the same becomes possible.

But the House of Lies isn’t just the removal of morality and replacement with an ersatz alternative, although that's a big part of it. There’s removal of organic culture, and even basic recognition of the material reality we inhabit on every level. This is made possible by the representation-reality reversal we’ve looked at before. It’s based on what we call semiotic filtering - the oft-overlooked fact that our experience of reality is made of and expressed through representations. Sign systems and symbols that we use to stand for or represent things that they aren’t. It works on many levels – at the most basic, perception itself is representative because it consists of mental impressions based on sense data. 

Structured semiotics come in when we want to express those impressions somehow. We translate the contents of thought into representative systems that allow us to share them with others. Words, numbers, pictures – something someone else can process and reach an approximation of what we are thinking. Any information we uptake other than direct sensory information is conveyed through sign systems. 

As are the informational inputs that allow us to interpret raw sense data. 

For that matter, sense data are also representations, just internally-generated and not manmade. Manmade representations are how you know that the raw sense data mean. Interpretative knowledge was previously heard, read, or saw via representational systems. Semiotic filters.

Semiotic filtering opens space for misunderstanding or deception because a sign or symbol is obviously different from whatever it represents. This is something we considered in the last Arts of the West post - how "experts" could call things that didn't conform to the meaning of art "art" and official society just went along. The representations - the word "art", the museums, media, venues, etc. - were the same. But the reality - the images and creations put forth as art - was totally inverted. It’s why we have to cross-check statements against consensus patterns of other statements and assess internal logic. Obviously, communication, understanding, and all the other parts of human meaning-making are more complex than a few sentences. Making it a constant effort. But the only way to hold moral entropy at bay is through constant effort.

What isn’t complex are these basic facts. 

All analysis and explanation of reality and anything in it is done through representations.

The quality of the representation  - the truth value - is how closely it aligns with the elements of reality that it refers to.

The House of Lies is also accessed through representations, but these representations have no effective truth value. They aren’t assessed on how closely they hew to the truth. They don't hew to the truth at all. Their entire purpose is to convey whatever fake narrative the beast is prioritizing for the idiot masses at the moment. 

Take the absurd deluge of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRI "anti-depressants" flooding collapsing America. Over 13% of adults reporting using them. This despite  harmful side-effects that even beast sources call underreported. And while the link to mass shootings is somewhat speculative, potentially inducing violent behavior isn't. Of course, the demonic pharmaceutical companies attempt the usual lies. The premise that drug trial results can be "suppressed" and the drugs widely used is a perfect example of the House of Lies at work.

It gets better. The House of Lies may work, but SSRIs don't, showing little more than a placebo effect. Source 1. Source 2.

That's because SSRIs alter brain chemistry and - despite persistent mass superstition - depression isn't caused by chemical imbalance in the brain. At least not according to a comprehensive meta-analysis of relevant studies going back decades and involving tens of thousands of participants that found no evidence.

SSRIs block reabsorption of the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain, increasing its level. This may not affect depression directly but does induce an altered state. Which may make some people feel better. As will a line of cocaine. 

The point is that they don't treat the cause of depression and have an alarming number of negative consequences. Even anecdotally, long-term users have a numbed glassiness that indicates cognitive impairment. So why does institutional medicine, media, and business push them?

It's a mystery...

Here's the catch. The glowing screens and fraudulent institutions use the same sign systems that are used to communicate real information, only they don’t represent anything real. The familiarity makes the fake concoctions appear as real, but their only reference are the inverted lies of the narrative engineers. The people look like people, they reference familiar settings, and belong to familiar groupings. But they present them in ways that contravene organic sociability, instinctive human nature, emotional health, or logical response.

Consider for a moment the way media, education, government, etc. portray familial, personal, socio-cultural, or institutional dynamics. 

Consider how they distort organic cultural realities. Now consider the volume of fake news. Imagine the magnitude of distorted history. The misrepresentations of religion or traditional authority... We could go on, but it’s clear enough how representation in the House of Lies – from glowing screens to inverted credentials – constructs a world that isn’t then forces it on its victims for cultural destruction and elite gain. 

Real cultural values build organically over time, through accumulated natural cause and effect lessons to real shared circumstances. Any group left alone long enough will develop some sort of defining culture. But it takes time for the collective experience to imprint individual frames of reference.

The House of Lies on the other hand is a web of falsehoods unrelated to anything real. The “lessons” aren’t founded in actual consequences of actual behavior. Metaphysics don’t need to be consistent with logical abstraction or material observation. Morality is whatever the glowing screen says it is this week. Because the fake reality is made up.

The weirdo can stalk the pretty girl and she’ll choose him over her natural high-value mate because that’s what the liars make up. Variation - the weirdo "rescues" the pretty girl because the natural high-value mate is a secret rapist and...  you get it. The insane litany of ridiculous gamma wish fulfilment as what pop culture presents as human relations. Or relationship structures and behavior patterns can be toxically false but the ending happy because that’s what the liars make up. 

100 lb. waifs can defeat 200 lb. trained fighters with awkward slow-motion kicks because that’s what the liars make up. 

The material world can spontaneously generate from nothing and represent the highest moral value because that’s what the liars make up. 

And so on.

Repesentation in the House of Lies can ignore actual causality because it doesn’t conform to the way things really are. If something happens in reality, there is always a chain of reasons - physical or personal - that let up to it. Not necessary in the House of Lies. It’s why the “values” are always changing. They don’t refer to anything real, so there is no need for any kind of consistency. Even internal consistency.

This means that the narrative huffers – the FTS2s that perpetuate the House of Lies by taking narratives as real – have nothing real to stand on. They can't cross-check statements against consensus patterns of other statements and assess internal logic because the fake world the take as real doesn't have consistent patterns or logic. And their fruit-fly tier memories mean they can't pick up on the inconsistencies. All they have are flickering fake narrative. Their understanding of self, of human relations and motivations, of culture, history, faith – everything, really – is made of rootless, disconnected lies. There is no organic culture that they belong to. They have no metaphysically credible faith to guide them. The “seminal” events that bond them together either didn’t happen the way they think they did or didn’t happen at all. Their memories are filled with layer upon layer of older fakes. A splatter pattern of changing, improbable deception instead of actual lived experiences. 

Take 9-11 - with the curious case of Building 7 shown here. The official account is larded with inconsistencies, but does ratchet up public rage. What it doesn't do is point any fingers at Iraq.

Enter bold-faced liars at the highest level fabricating cause for war of aggression against Iraq. If 9-11 didn't implicate them, these lies will.

The lies are more effective because of the rage over 9-11. The FTS fruit flies can't assess the story. Just twitch to the splatter pattern of changing, improbable deception instead of actual lived experiences.

So a capering mentally-deficient globalist puppet presides over a hegemonic invasion with massive negative consequences.

The FTS-2 fruit flies know it has something to do with being with or against "the terrorists".

Added bonus - fruit fly reaction to the pantomime create more opportunities for fake beast media to demonize Americans as "racist". 

This is one glimpse at one narrative. Extrapolate.

This is how reality is constructed for narrative huffers in the House of Lies. One improbability after the other forming a pseudo-narrative. "Pseudo" because there is no internally consistent plot tying the things together. Materialism is wholesome; wholesome is cringe; elders are wise; don’t trust anyone over 30; stick it to the man; greed is good; no war; yay war; my body my choice; forced injections will save us; Trump is popular and funny; Trump who?; orange man bad… It's exhausting.

And more than that, it means FTS2 not only can’t remember that they believed or thought…

...they have no real moral or cultural touchstones to 

guide their responses to new scenarios.

Actually think about that for a moment. Really imagine what life is when dishonest narrative incoherence is the backbone of reality.

Folkloric wisdom tells us that mass idiocy and falling for false realities have always been with us. But the old lessons were completely unequipped to deal with the 24-7 media and institution-driven deception of the House of Lies. How could they not be?

The Band sees through the House of Lies and makes assessments because we are capable of conceptualizing things like the macro-arc and productively tracking it. Most can’t. Most don’t even grasp what we’re trying to explain. 

Which is why for the history of the West, Christianity offered a shortcut – a sort of cheat code to make sound moral judgments in any circumstance.

Obviously moral reasoning is still needed to apply scriptural values to different contexts. And human nature remains fallen and inherently sinful. But the Bible provided an objective ethical foundation that has proven to be able to build healthy and productive societies.

This was complemented by ingrained imprinted cultural values that develop organically over time. The two are related - the organic cultures of the West share basic Christian deontology and ontology. But they have their own customs and norms that also offer shortcuts for processing new claims.

Folkore is great for forgotten lessons. Like the dangers posed to children from new spouses to fair-seeming strangers. As well as the depths of cruelty that people can sink to. 

This is a story that is depressingly timeless.

Organic cultural experience isn't objectively True in the manner of scripture. But it is based on real accumulated experience that make assessing a situation easier. We could discuss the classical tradition and cover the three pillars of the West, but we've made the point. Just consider the place of classical reason in... pretty much anywhere. So more than de-moralizing, the House of Lies is de-culturating.

And once there, there's really only two things left to note right now. Why this means it's not getting better. Then some of the pervasive self-reinforcing, self-propagating fakeness of the House of Lies. 

It should be beyond obvious at this point that there's no fix within the system. 

Consider.

FTS-2 can’t think on their own or remember much of importance. Then they replaced their Christian and organic cultural values with substance-less lies from glowing screens. They have they have no real moral or cultural touchstones to guide their responses to new scenarios. And that means no foundation for change things for the better, even if they wanted it. What changes that?

How could it "get better"? We can't see a viable pathway. Other than collapse and hard lessons of reality relearned in new organic culture. And that won't be the same as the post-Renaissance West.

Spend the rest of the post on how the House of Lies layers one mutually-reinforcing deception on another. And how inverted institutions are built on and refer back to other inverted institutions.  It's a house of vertically integrated lies. Crafted by the same narrative engineers and perpetuated by the media, with credibility because “education” and “expertise”. The hierarchy of credentials from the credentialism post. All reinforcing each other.

The false credential post showed how levels of inverted credentialism are stacked. But the vertical integration of the House of Lies goes way beyond credentials. It's the entire world view that is false.

The best way to think of it is to take the hierarchy of fake credentials as one of the tent poles or connective tissues that ties the House of Lies together.

A take on the Seven Pillars of Society. In the House of Lies, all of these are inverted or under attack, meaning that they run on false narrative rather than reflect objective reality. The fake credentialists create the links that allow the inversion of one to mutually corrupt and reinforce the others. So there is no official institutional path to truth.

The way this works gets right back to the representation-reality inversion we keep returning to. The reality is what the "pillars" are supposed to encompass or represent. Government being the proper stewardship of the nation on behalf of the best interests of the people. Family being the biologically, psychologically, and emotionally healthy configuration of related people through which the nation is propagated. Education being the process by which people learn what is known to be objectively true and the limits of that knowledge, and so on.

But when the relationship inverts and the pillar becomes and institutional end-in-itself cut off from its actual purpose, it can be jacked into whatever the narrative engineers desire. The words remain the same, but without serving objective reality, they're just malevolent lies. Government as globalist tyranny with a depopulationist and culturally genocidal attitude towards the people. Family as bizarre combination of unrelated strangers de jour, or as a societal enemy, full stop. Education as beast narrative indoctrination by sociopaths and groomers, and so on. 

Which is why nothing can be fixed.

Any attempt at systemic reform in the House of Lies takes place within the inverted "institutional structure", not in the relation between the structure and the reality it was created to serve.

Take education. Blather about "reform" starts by assuming the continued existence of the educational establishment. When any actual improvement would require scrapping the whole rancid dung pile for a return to reflecting historical, material, social, and psychological reality.

All mutually reinforcing and based on inverted perspectives of the House of Lies. How does one "fix" this?

The fake pillars masquerade as the reality they're supposed to represent in different ways. A common one is pretending the choice of the inverted system is choices within the fake system. That the fake system is given a priori with all options existing within it. And not that the entire system itself is an artificial construct chosen by the beast in lieu of reality.

So people look at the history of the fake pillar-construct as a continuum of choices, with an eye to where things "went wrong". And not as one of two options, the other being "something that isn't this". It's what makes homeschooling so troubling for the beast. Despite the imposition of state curricular parameters, homeschooling is choosing the [something that isn't this] option.

Take this timeline with selected landmarks in the development of modern US education. It is a set of policy choices, any of which can be debated. Progressives want to keep tinkering. Others probably have a point in the past - often relating to personal experience - that they consider ok. 

But whatever is selected in this - or any similar timeline - accepts that the US education system as developed is where education takes place in one way or another.

See the deception? The inverted structure is offered as the full gamut of connected policy options / choices / debates. When the reality is that the entire gamut is really just a set of gradients making up one side of the actual metachoice.

So long as it perpetuates the giant bloated system and never applies what educating actually is.

Illusionary debate within the beast system continuum masks the reality that the system itself is the problem.

For example - take the current blather over “wokeness”, CRT, child sexualization, and other signs of the current educational inversion. The normiecons are shrieking that this is a bridge too far while narrative huffers and beast teat-riders shriek about academic freedom and fake morality. Obviously, the Band is more sympathetic to the first group and the situation is getting objectively worse. But what's totally ignored is that it takes a continuum of institutional degradation required to get to this point. It's getting worse within a structure where getting worse is an intrinsic inevitability. 

The getting worse is baked into the concept. Consider the previous stages on the continuum leading to modern school that were retardedly accepted as sound ideas. To the point where slack-jawed FTS2 narrative huffers accept them as if they were as natural as sunrise.

1) Entrusting the care and raising of children to unaccountable governmental flacks. That would be the same oligarchic-bureaucratic entity engaged in broad-spectrum war on socio-culture, history, and material reality.

Many aspects of the current collapse of the West are policy driven. That is, products of the same governmental demons that the idiot masses choose offer up their children to. Schools have always been havens for perverts and abusers while continually undermining cultural mores. The current plague of woke groomers are merely a lower point on an old downward continuum of flight from reality and morality.

2) Entrusting child care and development to a mixture of the dumbest people on the academy and adults self-declaring as wanting to be around other people's children all day. To moron strangers with a high red flag count. And we know NATALT. The Band had a few talented and caring souls in our educational history that had present and future benefits for us. But they were badly outnumbered by the dolts, sociopaths, burnouts, perverts, etc. The fact that what would be assumed as basic competence is memorable makes the point. And if you get an addict, a gelatinous charity hire, a pedophile - the damage can last a lifetime.

Interesting fact with insight into narrative operations in the House of Lies. Keep in mind that this is merely the reported cases of sexual abuse. How many morons who feed their children to this will crack a joke about priests or altar boys?

And yes, the Band understands that raw numbers can mislead. Normalized, we get school as relatively twice as dangerous - just vastly more pervasive.

Remember, FTS2 can neither think nor feel without being instructed by their narrative engineers. that includes caring about the real wellbeing of their children. The perfect prey population, as the continued existence of school as currently configured indicates.

3) Mass stratifying children by age as socio-culturally positive in any way. Let alone in soulless institutional structures - point 1. And under moron strangers waving red flags -  point 2. Age group stratification is intrinsically dyscivic because it breaks family and cross-generational cultural bonds. Through all of premodern human history wisdom, accumulated experience, identity, stable morality, etc. were handed down organically. 

Whether at leisure, as in the English merrymaking painting from above...

Or, more commonly, at work, as in this scene from an American artist of the same era. Note how the distinctions between work, sociability, family, and culture were more organically blended. This is how actual culture grows over time. It's also much more impervious to jacking and replacement with false consciousness and beast lies.

Look at the picture below. Quick! What organic enculturation is going on there?

Tradition? Practical wisdom? Ontologically grounded objective morality? 

We could continue but the point is clear enough. Let the beast replace living culture and get beast system products.

Early American schools were different -  small gatherings of children under a locally-chosen teacher to facilitate basic education. Overseen by and serving the children of a communal area. They were also way less stratified.

Not ideal, but far more reflective of the organic culture of the community. The twin demons of centralization and credentialism we've discussed in recent posts truly transformed the classroom into a de-moralization and de-culturating machine.

Obviously oversimplifying complex history, but that's the point. It's in the broad patterns where Macro-Arc trends become visible. Hence the desire on the part of the narrative engineers to stay bogged down in trivial choices within beast institutional structures. Speaking broadly, it’s the industrial model that the modern school is built on that rigidly divides children by “grade”. Essentially tranches of blank slate idiots separated from their larger culture and steered by points #1 and #2. All reinforced by the lies and degeneracy of culture-replacing narratives beamed though glowing screens outside of school. Without stratification of this kind, demented and dyscivilizational myths like “teenage rebellion” that the beast made hay from would be unthinkable.

These are just three previous points on the beast roadmap leading to the current travesty masquerading as “education”. By all means oppose the current inversion. But where in the continuum leading up to it is too far? Keep empowering government flacks to imprint your children's life patterns? Keep entrusting them to a system proven incapable of protecting them from predation? Keep breaking organic cultural patterns for forces segregation in narrow age groups under #1 and #2?

Where on the slippery slope is too far? Don't answer - it's a trick question. Moral entropy ensures that once a negative continuum is embarked on, downward movement is inevitable.

The only correct answer is not to et on the slope in the first place. It's like those [only way to win is to not play] scenarios. If they want you to pretend an arbitrary continuum is reality, don't. Choose reality from the jump.

 

A bit of a digression through education, partly because of the Band's own loss of patience with that House of Lies foundation stone. But it's necessary to show how the pretense that a fake continuum is reality blocks perception of actual reality. To make a crass analogy, it's the fake choice of [fecal spray or light fecal mist] obscuring [feces or no feces]. Toss the whole rancid thing. Take responsibility for your children's enculturation and education. And leave the “continuum” in the trash bin where it should have always been.

Now keep in mind that education is merely one stone in the House of Lies foundation. And the [downward continuum as reality] deception only one pattern of lie. All of which reinforce each other. To the point where the masses – and not only FTS2 – truly believe and act as if blatant, self-evident lies are true. Raising the question...

If one’s core values are obviously false and maintained only through cognitive dissonance and raw stupidity, how does reality-facing systemic change happen?

We’re not even talking the failure to recognize should-be-obvious fake patterns like the continuum-choice contrast we just mentioned. We mean things that are nakedly false in and of themselves. Like a particularly annoying canard that sums up the willful flight from reality that defines the idiot masses.

That would be the self-evident absurdity called "free speech". A litmus test for the sort of thought-resistant halfwit who lies about "dying for it"... if only it existed.

Harsh? Perhaps, but the Band is so tired of people pretending utterly retarded fictions are real ethoi.

Consider. We don’t allow threats, fraud, libel and other “illegal” speech acts from the masses. Set aside whether it's fairly or uniformly enforced. The point is the reality of criminalized acts of speech and writing are widely accepted. To the point where the is no public pressure to change the laws. It is therefore an objective fact that “free speech” does not exist - in theory or practice - as a societal value. 

Read that again. Absurdities like crowded theaters not required. Also, no one really questions that some forms of speech – use death threats for an uncontroversial one – are unacceptable. And this means that the vast majority of free speech believers also believe a statement has to be vetted in some capacity to determine if it's permitted. In short, that speech is contingent.

So how can free speech - which even it's advocates act as if it objectively doesn't exist - be a "value"?

Values are abstractions – absolutist concepts that don’t exist materially in themselves. They manifest in material circumstances but have no material existence outside the manifestations. Someone can be truthful, but "truth" qua truth is an abstract. This means "free speech" is simply an ideal - a conceptual figment - unless there is a material, socio-cultural context where it can be actualized. Where everyone can say whatever they want. Which there isn’t. And claiming to believe in it as a social value is a claim to believe something that is manifestly not existent exists. The moment some utterances are consensus impermissible, there is only contingent speech. Unless there is some magic logic that creates coexistent opposites.

Although that doesn't prevent idiocy like this. From someone who probably considers themselves clever. Free speech doesn't actually exist. It therefore isn't reason. And progress... That's the central myth of the post-Enlightenment beast system covered in countless posts.

What we have is permitted ranges of speech within centrally determined parameters. Centralized, like everything else in the House of Lies. Authorities that you have no sway over decide what statements you can be punished for. Material facts.

So where does this self-evidently fake value come from that so many functional retards claim to “stand for” while literally neither standing for nor having? The answer is unexpected. It's an echo of the organic community that the House of Lies overgrew and replaced.

In a homogenous, self-regulating, non-age-stratified-and-overseen-by-morons-and-demons culture, norms and values form naturally over time. Boundaries are implicit and passed on generationally. What is acceptable and what is outside the pale is coded and self-policed in these values and assumptions. Often times, not even consciously. Just patterns of life. Like a cultural subconscious regulated by socio-cultural reaction. The idea of speaking freely forms naturally within these parameters - the idea is that you are free to hold different opinions, not that there are no sanction for destructive speech acts. But in an organic culture, there is no need to meticulously outline the boundaries of propriety because they're understood. Leaving official statutes free to address specific cases deemed collectively significant.

Insofar as an organic culture enacts laws and sanctions against fraud, slander, death threats, etc., they reflect consensus assumption that these are outside sane cultural norms. Any healthy society protects itself from pathological impulses.

Ponder that for a moment. 

A mixture of organic cultural norms and Christianity that defined the West precludes motivation or desire to attack the basic assumptions of a stable, healthy society. Securing freedom from tyranny to speak openly about political matters or leadership can easily coexist with a cultural consensus that we just don’t spew perversion at children. No materially-impossible absolute value is required because the contingent parameters of free speech are collectively understood.

Now, change the culture and change the norms.

It should be obvious by now that there is no process of organic enculturation in the House of Lies. It’s an oppressive top-down construct created by demonic narrative engineers. Then imposed through centralized interlocking networks of liars in institutions and on glowing screens. Where it's uptaken into the fruit-fly tier memories of a mass population incapable of observation and reason. 

 Just wildly shifting, even contradictory fake “values” pumped into the slack-jawed masses.

Until we reach the present situation where the sheer mass of fakeness careens out of control across a desolate cultural brownfield of its own making. Collapse and destruction closing in.

So the House of Lies is a little different than cultural change.

Now, change the culture and change the norms.

Change the overlord wishes and change the norms. 

Here’s some reality. 

Speech in society is a material accommodation. That is, materially-extant people making specific statements, in an environment necessarily defined by balancing individual freedoms and collective survival. This means that there are always limits because the material is not infinite. Abstractions, in contrast, are not constrained by material considerations. And pretend one is the other is a basic ontological category error, whether or not the believer is too stupid to understand.

Theoretically, this spirals inward "forever".

Materially, it stops when the available space is too small for more markings and a colored dot is placed there to imply further recession.

One is an abstract ideal like "free speech". The other is the reality of speaking in a material world. That is, constrained.

Blathering about believing in non-existent abstracts completely misses the real issue. Since all speech in society is constrained to some degree or another, this is the only question that matters. What will the limits be, and who will set them?

Currently, it’s the beast. It wasn’t always that way. But the idiot masses prefer posturing over fantasy to the hard work of socio-cultural responsibility. More accurately, posturing over fantasy is all they’re capable of because that’s what the narrative engineers told them to “think”. What changes this?

We could go on. What about muh democracy? Muh representational government?

Seriously, where is the "representation" of the nation's population? And if the people aren't represented, how stupid do you have to be to call the autocrats "representatives"? Is amoeba-tier too high? Maybe rock dumb?

Representative government is something else that’s materially, self-evidently false. Unlike "free speech" it could exist. It just doesn't. On what grounds does modern government representative majority wishes? If it did, society would have developed totally differently. 

What it is is a closed oligarchy offering up pre-selected turds for rigged “plebicites”. If something is unpopular, the full force of the media-institutional fake narrative creation system is turned on full blast to create a false impression that it isn't. If it’s still unpopular after that, it’s done anyways.

We're belaboring it a little, but consider the number of people who believe the US government system is representative. They do teach it in beast schools, after all.

Make it simple. There are three choices. 1) Explain how government represents the interests and will of the American people. 2) Stop pretending this political cesspool is representative of the American people. 3) Be an FTS-2 retard. Your choice.

Now consider the vast cadres of unelected skidmarks – from endless forms of “experts” to justices to local administrators – that regulate what we can or can’t do. With no concern for our wishes whatsoever.

There is a form of governance. But it is in no way “representative” of the American people.

Just a tiny sampler of the interlocking lies in the House of them. Beast institutions masquerading as reality promulgating obvious lies as values and other institutions. Education, free speech, and representative government in this case, but the possibilities are endless. Education lies about speech and government, government lies about speech and education. Now extrapolate over every aspect of this inverted society. 

That would be enough to conclude this isn't turning around without catastrophic change. But there also subtler and perhaps more destructive lies about the FTS-2 masses as well. That they can be moved by moral outrage or the desire to self-actualize in productive ways. 

It's obvious no one really cares who did what on Epstein's island. Or anywhere else for that matter. We hear over and over that “if X got out, there'd be torches and pitchforks...”

No there wouldn't. De-moralized, de-culturated masses not only don't care. Many envy the perverts.

The Band is old enough to remember liars claiming available Obama phones would unleash waves of untapped creativity. To the surprise of no one capable of thought, it didn't. Probably good for porn and gambling sites though...

Objective observation indicates that what the masses desire is adequate comfort with no effort. Oh, there are plenty of strivers and acquisitionists, but they're far from the norm. Empirically, most are not driven by a lust for abundance but the desire to do as little as possible. Not mountains to climb or life's works to achieve but to sit in front of screens and intake processed carbs and fats. 

One sign that we exist in a fallen world is that indulging our immediate desires becomes societally toxic on the large scale. 

Now combine this with the lack of any sort of objective moral awareness. And what you get is passive acceptance of almost anything "out there" so long as it doesn’t get in the way of absorbing screen and processed garbage. Sometimes leavened with concealed desire to take part in the degeneracy - if the opportunity was there and could be gotten away with. Meanwhile, the screen watching garbage-eaters get more dependent on the ruling psychopaths of the House of Lies for… everything. 

How could that go wrong?..

Why won’t it get better? Short-term personal desire and long-term societal health are at odds. Without external morality, there is no innate motivation for virtue. The Good, the Beautiful, and the True are guiding values because they're metaphysically objective. They're abstractions, so there is relative difference between their material manifestations. But they are themselves not relative. And the quality of the manifestation is assessable through moral or other kinds of reasoning.

De-moralization cascades. Without moral reasoning, there is no capacity for consistent orientation towards virtue. No roadmap to what is right. And that means there's no ability to check what the Band refers to as moral entropy. Chasing the dragon. What was once transgressive becomes normal, and what was once exhilarating becomes boring in a downward spiral of moral decay.

Take sex. Best way to get the screen-watchers’ attention. What doesn't get enough attention is the gap between media-created fantasy and mass social reality. 

Just one picture to represent the degree of sexualization in modern media culture. Compared to any past mass culture in history. Consider the difference between what is shown and what can actually be experienced in the average person's life.

The masses exist in a state of unfulfillable desire completely different from anything pre-House of Lies ancestors faced. It's not that imagination and fantasy didn't exist before media. It's that the House of Lies includes the fake media world of our Truth in Culture and Occult posts. Remember that FTS-2 acts as if integrated messaging is reality. So scenarios shown in the media register as possible in a way that a fantasy isn't. Just not for them. 

The Band has had good fortune socially and weren’t always constrained by the imperatives of family and Christian morality. Even so, we can speak to how the House of Lies constantly stokes lust no matter how sated one should be. What’s it like for those who aren’t sated at all? The prevalence of porn suggests an answer, despite the well-documented personal and societal harm it causes. Somehow we doubt “free love” was sold as self-pleasuring while watching others doing unattainable things. Yet here we are. 

And the chase the dragon nature of dopamine surges calls to mind other addictive patterns offered up as means to cope with the dehumanizing madness of the House of Lies. An endless procession of intoxicants, new and old. They can even be mixed with the porn to party alone in the pod. That’s not the pattern that leads to sudden positive change. Personally or societally.

Why won’t it get better? Because the masses are getting morally worse.

Morality is a personal alignment with metaphysical reality or Truth. And the Mouse Utopia aspect of the House of Lies has kept FTS-2 from reality for a long time. This specific 3D model from a 7 Deadly Sins set is an apt metaphor in so many ways when you think about it.

Some sort of systemic shake-up will have to happen for any serious possibility of improvement. 

The interlocking falsehoods reinforce each other in a complete fake reality. We looked at a few. The de-moralized masses do the rest, spiraling slowly downward. Those are also symbiotic - the fake reality moves further from reality as the masses de-culturate. One important lesson from past posts is that an effective lie is like magic if it makes people act as if it were true. Not that it changes reality, but it changes [what happens next] as if it did. This is what makes it all seem so real.

People commit to societal and cultural degradation by personal investment - by acting as if the House of Lies was reality. The narrative only becomes real when the huffers make it the reality of their own lives.

The House of Lies says send the kids to school! 

The huffer can't even fathom the idea of saying "no" because it's not an option in the narrative. Of course, the beast lies to them, claiming that their children are in the hands of caring experts and learning the truest facts and values. 

When they aren’t, the huffer has two options. Admit that they were wrong and ill-served their children, or deny the reality, get defensive, and double down on their investment in a false institution.

Note that Christianity is predicated on the knowledge that humans are fallen and flawed and screw up morally. It’s built in a central redemptive sacrifice and repentance and forgiveness of sins. But that means thinking outside the narrative. And taking responsibility...

The House of Lies says free speech is a virtue! 

The huffer believes, because it allows them to LARP the literally satanic pretense of do what thou wilt “freedom” without having to do anything but blather. Maybe a bumper sticker... 

There are two choices. Admit that something that doesn’t exist doesn’t exist and take responsibility for the implications, or bleat on about fairies in the garden while society unravels. It's preferable to commit to lies than address the fundamental emptiness of an identity based on a hollow, fake system of civic nationalist lies.

The House of Lies says we choose who rules over us! 

The huffers express angry NPC face reactions to the possibility that their "representatives" are puppets of unaccountable globalist financial interests that drive dyscivilizational policies from mass invasion to sexual degeneracy, to mass poisoning, to war on culture, family, and tradition.

Inversion on the basic world view level don’t come to mind when people think of "fake news" or "education reform". Because they’re the deeper false assumptions that that precede those sorts of judgments. Fundamental reprogramming of a truthful relationship with the levels of reality with generations of accumulated interlocking deception.

Cycle back to our comments about Christianity and organic culture as cheat codes for responsible moral judgements in changing circumstances. There's a collective understanding of what's acceptable and a societal self-preservation drive to reject those who try and replace this with degeneracy and dyscivics.

Of course, these don't encourage dopamine collecting as a primary goal. Or offloading fundamental responsibilities to self, family, and community to the beast. Hollow, platitudinous blather about low-effort fake values is out too.

You can’t “fix” institutions when their very existence is inherently false and inverted. You can reform governance when the founding principles are inherently false and inverted. You can’t re-moralize a people when their basal drivers and beliefs are false and inverted. What talking heads and internet blatherers identify as problems are just symptoms. Symptoms of collective degradation through trading responsibility for ease. Until lies are all that remain.

And because it’s getting worse over time, it’s a trajectory. A macro-arc. And any spontaneous change of trajectory needs a cause. What turns the intensifying and mutually self-perpetuating House of Lies around shy of complete systemic collapse?

For years cucked “conservatives” have abetted this process by covering the deeper false assumptions with clucking about different symptoms along the fake trajectories. Morally preening over their embrace of fundamental lies about the reality of civic nationalism, free speech, equalism, secularism, and the rest of the demented flight from reality that brought us here. And in so doing, giving their slack-jawed, desire-to-do-nothing readers a moral contact high for their own acceptance of the destruction of Western civilization. 

A common trope for these turds was to isolate some “excess” in the fundamentally inverted world view and whine about the hypocrisy. As if demons cared about inconsistency.

Bonus points for pointing out that if it doesn't stop, “the left” won’t like it when this happens to them. 

It’s not about “the left” or “the right” at this level. Directional metaphors are irrelevant when the whole field is fake. It’s about the predations of satanic power-seekers and their war on reality. In which the establishment on both "sides" are complicit agents. Without prioritizing truth, there is only degrees of moral entropy. Different slopes of slippy slide into the abyss. And the idiot masses and their narrative engineers haven’t given a toss about truth for a long time.

Not only is the post-Enlightenment West not going to “get better”, it’s in its ghost run. It’s already too late. Whatever comes next may reacquaint with the truth out of hard necessity. But it won’t be what was before.
